Why does everybody ask how many tattoos you have?

The question is how much coverage you have. How many does a Back Tattoo count as? How about full sleeve, how many is that? If I have a Full Back Tattoo, and two full sleeves is that only 3 tattoos?

   Boredom…I asked it yesterday simply because I was bored! Its not a contest or at least I don’t think it is but you do have a good point!

   well, if someone asked me how many and i had a full back plate i would count it as one piece of art. same goes with the sleeves unless it is a collage of several different ones.
   I only have 2 individual small pieces of art so i have it easy. it all depends on your view of them. if they are large or small let the person asking know.
