    yeah that would be cool, just remember the bigger and the mor color, little designs, then the more PAIN. I really want a small tattoo on my lower back of like a Hawaiian Hibisucus flower. But people call it the Tramp stamp spot. Oh well

    I don’t think a quote in the middle of the wing tattoo would be a good idea but the rest sounds good.

    my wings are on the back, right at the base of the neck, just between my shoulder blades.

    I can wear a shirt and nobody can see it, but if I wear a modest “v” cut shirt {in the back} it shows.

    I got the size of my wings to fit perfectly into the full palm of my hand IF it was possible for me to take it off.

    it’s large enough to be seen easily, small enough not to be hide, but modest enough to be pretty at any age I arrive at.

    It’s often a pleasant surprise to those behind me, if they should catch a glimpse of it when I’m not wearing a “v” cut in the back. some people say, “oh, I like those angel wings!” other people say, “I like those eagle wings!”

    in fact without color, they can be either one. it has no color because the lines thicken with time, and had I got colors they would have smeared some, and sort of blended a bit, and then looked tacky. the benefit of not having them colored means the wings can never clash with what I’m wearing, no matter the style, or color of my clothes.

    The position of the wings is so they are neither closed nor opened, but in the position where they can be consider as “about to take off.” or “about to land.”

    I choose this because a permanente state suggests no destination, and no growth. I chose to lock into that which suggest either sun rise or sun set, because they look the SAME, but speak to the viewer of my wings how they choose to see them/me.

    to the viewer, I have just arrived, or I’m about to depart.

    Like an eagle I head straight for the sun, and like an angel I reflect the glow of the “Son”… of God, of course. {smiling}

    Remember;
    Give your tattooed “meaning” you can grow old with.

    ok, enough about my wings!
    hope this helps
